I know how it feels when I eat sweets and when I don't

After just 3 months in the After Sugar Club, I know how it feels when I eat sweets and when I don't. This was my goal from the beginning.
I am learning to love life. Which means loving cooking, and having patience and perseverance. I have positive things to look forward to because IF and eating whole foods have many benefits.
Thank you all for your support and advice.

Before I put something in my grocery cart, I check the label

Thanks to the After Sugar Club, now before I put something in my grocery cart, I check the label and if it's too processed I put it back on the shelf. I can't wait to start experimenting with fermented foods.
At the moment I buy sauerkraut, kimchi and kombucha at the store, but I want to start making them myself."

I find no-sugar and IF support each other

I find no-sugar and IF support each other. Intermittent fasting sorts out early morning breakfast for a start because I don’t eat it! Then I am hungry for a big lunch and make sure I have enough protein and fats for it to be satisfying, (I’m 99% vegan so this is a challenge). Then I have a light meal in the evening.
This means I am not getting sugar spikes and lows throughout the day and it makes keeping off the sugar much easier.
We are all so different though, and our lifestyles are as well. Putting in some forward planning, being a bit inventive and thinking outside the cookie jar works wonders for me.

I let go of my long-standing Diet Pepsi habit

I made enormous strides in the After Sugar Club because you make everything easy and simple to understand.
I've been experimenting over the last year - it's so much fun!
And I really owe you a huge debt of gratitude for encouraging me to make kombucha. I love it, and to my amazement it's helped me to let go of my long-standing Diet Pepsi habit."

Now I plan and prep what the meal plan for whole foods will be

I am so thankful for getting the message to seek nutrition in real foods. I was once obsessed with hyper palatable highly processed foods, especially sweets. Now I plan and prep what the meal plan for whole foods will be.
I made a list of "5-star foods" that I have on my phone to remind me about my personal mission, and specifically what I am planning to ingest. It also helps me with grocery shopping.

My goal was to reduce my need for sweetness

When I first started my life after sugar 18 months ago, I did it gradually. I was making desserts using monk fruit sweetener and coconut or almond flour.
However, my goal was to reduce my need for sweetness, and I needed support and tools to help me long term. Now I also know more about gut health.
The After Sugar Club really makes me feel confident.
I love watching your videos - you're funny and thought-provoking at the same time!
